Phil is by the world famous Cornet Obolensky and his dam is by Mr. Blue, another remarkable producer of top class sport horses.

Pedigree

Sire Cornet Obolensky needs no introduction; he has dominated the sport and breeding world for over a decade, Phenomenally successful as both a sport and breeding stallion.  His good looks, temperament and outstanding technique and scope and that of his offspring, have seen him counted amongst the best stallions in the world for heritability and reliability.  Today, his children and grand-children fly the Cornet Obolensky flag at the top level all over the globe.  In 2012, the BWP awarded him the title “Ambassador” and he is currently fourth in the WBFSH Sire Rankings for 2017

Sire of Phil is Mr. Blue, a top international competitor who needs no introduction.  He is renowned for producing top class international performers.  World Champion Beezie Madden and Simon, Top performer Marcus Ehning and Plot Blue and Dutch team champion Jur Verling and Zirocco Blue are only some of the top winning horses that come to mind sired by Mr. Blue.

Performance

Phil came to Kylemore Stud following a superb performance at the KWPN Stallion show 2018 in Den Bosch.  Here he was approved for KWPN and selected for performance testing.  We can expect no more from this young stallion.

Family:
Although young, Phil’s family is strong.  We find already that his dam is a sister to 1 40mt and 1 50mt jumpers.  And again we find international performers in the third and fourth generation.
Phil is the first foal of his dam.
