Cornerado VDL

2016 Grey 169cms
Cornet Obolensky x Indorado x Nimmedor
WFFS Negative

Continuing his winning ways in 2021 Cornerado showed us again he has enormous scope, blood and athletic ability in the ring.  Impressing at the Cavan Classic 5 year old championships, he was jumping clear rounds all week, finishing 4th in the final.  Having had a busy season at stud, breeders like the foals they see, being modern types, quality elegant and tall good moving foals sold well again at all the usual auctions.

Cornerado was the champion at the prestegious Cavan Indoor Championships at 4 in 2020. Winning on an exceptionally high score, and blowing the competition out of the water, we saw his unlimited scope, blood and power, plus excellent rideability under the saddle of Vincent Byrne.  Following on from his 3 year old debut loose jumping into the money at Emerald Equestrian in 2019.  The first foals sold exceptionally well and were tall modern blood foals with super movements!

Sire: Cornet Obolensky
Cornet Obolensky needs no introduction; he has dominated the sport and breeding world for over a decade, Phenomenally successful as both a sport and breeding stallion.  His good looks, temperament and outstanding technique and scope, and that of his offspring, have seen him counted amongst the best stallions in the world for heritability and reliability.  Today, his children and grand-children fly the Cornet Obolensky flag at the top level all over the globe.  In 2012 the BWP awarded him the title “Ambassador” and he is currently fifth in the WBFSH Sire Rankings for 2019

Cornerado is from a young dam line but directly from this dam line we find the famous Papillion Rouge and young star Glenfiddish.
