The very exciting jumping stallion Chin Quidam really emphasised his future potential during 2014, with his spectacular performances at 1.40 level and in the international youngster classes.
It turned out to be an very successful year for Chin Quidam under Irish International Darragh Kenny with their biggest achievements coming at some of the most prestigious showjumping venues in the world, they recorded fantastic results at Spruce Meadows, Aachen and Dublin; with their year culminating with a truly outstanding performance by winning their first 1.50 Grand Prix at Ommen. Some other highlights include winning the Sparkassen youngster cup qualifier and final at Aachen against some of the world’s most talented 7 and 8 year olds; and also at Dublin winning both qualifiers for the youngster class and placing 2nd in the final.
Chin Quidam is an exceptional example of the dream combination of showjumping legends Chin Chin and Quidam de Revel, both Olympic competitors and top progenitors; their influence on modern day showjumping can be seen right across the world with their offspring competing at the top levels of sport on a continuous basis.
It cannot go without mention, the highly influential dam line from which Chin Quidam descends, his mother Thianula competed herself at 1.30 level has also produced two other international performers in Zianula N and Aznavour 8. Gran mother Hinula is no less than the full sister of the three approved stallions Lancer I, Lancer II and Lancer III who have been hugely influential on German sport horse breeding. She has also produced two approved stallions in No limit and Unlimited-N, with the latter also being an international performer.
Chin Quidam is an exceptional talent, who is well on his way to the top of the sport. He is noted for his efficient scope, quick reflexes, fearlessness and very easy temperament.
